Let’s Build Something Together
We support military and Aerospace operations including aircraft and satellite and other applications with zero margin for error. Structural integrity of the metal is retained through our specialized process.
About Us
Waterjet cutting is often used during fabrication of machine parts. It is the preferred method when the materials being cut are sensitive to the high temperatures generated by other methods. Abrasive Water-jet cutting is used in various industries, including mining and aerospace, for cutting, shaping, and reaming. With Water-jet, there are no heat affected zones and therefore less risk of micro-abrasions or cracks which destroy aircraft integrity. Some of the materials we can cut include stainless steel, steel, glass, aluminum, wood, brass, copper, stone, plastic, marble, acrylic.

Aerospace Industry - Application Areas
Some manufacturing processes require precision with zero margin for error. Heat affected zones are a primary concern and this is the area where waterjets can provide the most benefit.

Municipal Infrastructure
From Railings, posts, parking systems, electrical boxes and trunks, gates, metal paneling, industrial strength, patterned

Automotive Assembly Manufacturing
Preparing parts for extrusions and fabrication of machine parts.
BENEFITS OF WATERJET
Waterjet cutting eliminates many problems compared to other ways of cutting materials. No costly fixtures or tooling, no HAZ (heat affected zone), no material warping, no burrs or sharp edges, tolerances within +/- .025″ and no work hardening.
With our process, we can “nest” the parts you’d like us to cut tightly in place to best utilize your material. This allows us to save large portions of the raw stock that would typically be lost with other traditional machining methods.
Because of the high velocity of the cutting stream, any smoke, fume or airborne dust particles from cutting materials such as fiberglass, asbestos, and beryllium are no longer a concern. This greatly reduces problems arising from exposure to hazardous work environments.
Waterjets are eco-friendly in a sense that they don’t produce any hazardous waste. The actual cutting abrasive we use is a ruby called garnet, that is ground into sand. There are many different types of species of garnet with different mineral compositions, all of which have come from the earth and then after our cutting process is then, again returned via landfill.
